Industrial Bedrooms mix masculine themes with modern flourishes. It is a very simple look to create and with a few key pieces you can have your very own industrial style bedroom.
Lighting is a major component in creating industrial bedrooms. We would look for a lamp in the style of an Anglepoise lamp. In general, balanced-arm lamps perfectly demonstrate the industrious and creative thinking at the core of industrial design. Well thought out lighting will easily help create an industrial aesthetic in your home.
The Bentley Isabelle Bed is a solid construction made to a very high spec. We love the traditional look of this bed. It is available in Antique Nickel or Antique Brass. The antique finish creates a patina on the metal that only time can usually provide.
Here we have the Original Bedstead Company Edwardian Bed in Black and the Serene Charlotte Fabric Bed in Charcoal. The Edwardian bed is made from cast metal with solid castings. This way of making a metal bed frame is the best process and is a sign of superior quality. It is solid and robust just like industrial design should be. The Serene Charlotte Fabric Bed could have been overlooked by some for the Industrial Bedrooms trend. Fabric beds contrast beautifully against hard metals and dark colours.
Don't forget to be creative with accessories. Look for wall art featuring stylish typography or a striking clock. Most importantly, do not forget the all important bedside lamp.
This Serene Modena Bed is quite a contemporary design however, the Champagne finish and chunky metal design is bang on trend. This design takes on a whole new look when paired with brushed metal or matt painted accessories.
The Birlea Castello Fabric Bed is another fabulously chunky design. We can just picture this sitting center stage in a loft conversion. As this bed is such a showstopper you could really go to town with the accessories! We are thinking large industrial spotlights mounted on wooden stands. Don't be afraid to mix the materials you use, fabric, wood and metal work really well together.
Industrial bedrooms generally look quite masculine. We wanted to show a slightly more refined and feminine take on this trend. So if dark moody tones are not your thing, this Oatmeal finish will be perfect.
When combined with industrial lighting and accessories the whole look will come together.
Kaydian Beds are renowned for their outstanding quality and attention to detail. We love that the Belford's sleigh design harks back to days gone by. The brass stud details and dark, turned wood feet give this design an edge.
