Day beds are fabulous creations that are multi-functional and versatile, making them ideal for several rooms in the home.  Here at Beds on Legs we love a bed that has more than one purpose and our day beds certainly hit the spot. What’s more, our day beds come in a variety of styles so you can be sure that there will be one that will be just right for your home. Itching to find your dream day bed? Then just click here.  Without further ado here are the top 4 advantages of day beds.

    Day Beds

    1. Multi-Functional

At the very minimum our day beds are dual purpose in that they can be used as both a bed and a place for loafing. However, many of our models offer even more functionality. Indeed, some of our day beds can be purchased with a trundle bed which basically operates as a guest bed. The trundle bed is stored conveniently under the main bed and can be used when required.  The advantage here is that the space required, when not in use, is kept to a minimum. Furthermore, a few of our day beds also have storage facilities making them ideal if you require some extra squirrelling space.

    2. Suitable For Multiple Rooms in The Home

Day beds can be used as a sofa as well as a bed which makes them perfect for several rooms in the home. For example, you can use a day bed in a child’s bedroom, an office, a guest room or even in a family room. In fact, there is nothing to stop you using a day bed in any room that has the space.

    3. More Comfortable for Sleep Than a Sofa Bed

When most people think of a bed that can be used for sitting as well as sleeping, they think of a sofa bed. However, sofa bed mattresses are generally not as comfortable as a mattress used on a day bed. What’s more, there is a much wider choice of mattresses for day beds so you can get be sure to get the right one for you.

    4. Wide Range of Designs

Here at Beds on Legs we understand that everyone has different interior tastes, and we do our best to make sure our collection reflects that. For example, if you dig the hygge vibe then a wooden day bed would blend perfectly with this style. Or if you’re channeling the cottagecore look then an intricately designed metal day bed might be more in keeping. If comfort as a sofa is a key consideration, then a fabric sofa bed may be the most suitable option.
