    A Potted History

     

    In 1924 the Price family of Croydon dedicated themselves to manufacturing the finest quality mattresses.  Shortly after in 1925, Sleepeezee became one of the first manufacturers to produce interior sprung mattresses. These mattresses were well received and thus the mattresses that we all know today were born. After this time, Sleepeezee had many successful years producing some of the best mattresses.

    Some time later in 1980 Sleepeezee went on to revolutionise the world of sleep yet again. Indeed, they introduced the Beautyrest pocket spring system. This spring system was a huge leap forward in mattress technology offering unrivalled comfort and support.

     

    The next milestone was in 2017 when Sleepeezee became carbon neutral, showing their commitment to the environment. Furthermore, Sleepeezee haven’t sent anything to landfill since 2012.

     

    A Royal Warranty

     

    A Royal Warrant of appointment is given as recognition to people or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to HM The Queen and to HRH The Prince of Wales and their households.  Indeed, this Royal Warrant, demonstrates that a product is of the highest quality as well as being a mark of being the best of British. Sleepeezee were proudly awarded this honour by HM the Queen in 1963. They also went on to be awarded it again in 1985 and have maintained a Royal Warrant ever since. So, if you want to sleep like Royalty, then you’re in good hands.

     Sleepeezee the first bed manufacturer to receive the Planet Mark accreditation. This is a recognition of the all the efforts that a company has made to ensure their product is sustainable and has the least possible impact on the environment. Furthermore, Sleepeezee have been carbon neutral since 2017 and in 2021 have made even more progress by installing 591 energy saving solar panels.
