    Finding the right pillow can feel like trying to find a unicorn. How many times have you gone out to get the right pillow only to find it isn't the right one! In a lot of respects pillows are a lot like relationships. Sometimes you can find the perfect one straight away, whilst it may take other people years to find the perfect match. And that's not all, what might be right for you when you're younger may not be suitable when you're older. Indeed, getting the right pillow is extremely important. It can help to keep your spine in the correct alignment and can help prevent neck problems and headaches. Get the right pillow and your body will thank you for it. In fact, just like the right relationship, once you've found the one, you'll never want to let it go.

    Indeed, there are three main types of pillows. There are feather and down, memory foam and microfibre. Furthermore, the price tag on these pillows varies widely. You can get a pillow for less than £10.00 and more than a £100.00. This can make your quest for the right pillow even more confusing! Should you splash the cash and get the best you can afford? Well not necessarily, although cheap generally isn't cheerful there are lots of happy mediums. And remember what's good for those goose may not be good for the gander.     If you like a snugly pillow then this might be the perfect pillow for you. These pillows also do a pretty good job of moulding to your neck. Whilst these pillows can flatten out, with a bit of plumping they will regain their original shape. They also keep their height a lot longer than a microfibre pillow. The main draw backs to these pillows is that they can be costly and some people don't like the rustling noise they can make.

    Over the last decade or so memory foam products have flooded the market. Indeed, manufactures of pillows have been keen to bring memory foam pillows to the market. Essentially memory foam is a body temperature sensitive. In a nutshell this means the pillow will mould to your head. Therefore, this will help to keep your spine in perfect alignment. If you suffer from neck problems or headaches then you might want to seriously consider this style of pillow. The other benefit to these pillows is that they are long lasting and have hypoallergenic qualities.

    Microfibre Pillows

    If you're shopping on a budget then this pillow should fit the bill. They are also probably the best option for a spare bedroom where they might not be used as much. These pillows also have hypoallergenic qualities which makes them ideal for allergy sufferers. Furthermore, you can wash them easily by popping them in the washing machine. However, as this is the cheapest option you will need to replace them every few years.
