    The Gold Wrapping Paper

This is a great Christmas story for those aged between four and six. In summary, a man has always wrapped his presents in paper made of gold. However, he can't finish wrapping all his presents as his daughter has used the last of the paper herself. On Christmas day, the little girl happily gives her gift to her dad. To his surprise the gold wrapped box contains nothing. However, it's not as it seems, as the little girl has blown kisses into the box. Whilst initially her dad is upset, he soon realises that her love is the greatest gift of them all. You can read this lovely short story here

    Twas The Night Before Christmas

Whilst it's actually a poem, we just had to include this in our list of Christmas bedtime stories. This is a great poem that is full of long standing Christmas traditions. From Father Christmas being all decked out in warm fur clothes to the prancing of reindeer's on rooftops, this poem ticks all the boxes. Plus it's a rhyming poem too, which makes it particularly fun to read. You can read it here

There's An Elf In Your Book

Unless you've been living under a rock (sorry if that's you!) then you'll know all about Elf on a shelf mania. This book takes that idea and puts it into a wonderful Christmas story. What's more this is an interactive book making it super fun too! It's a great book for capturing young imaginations and is full of colourful illustrations.
