|Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. If you would like more help making a purchase please go to our home page and select how to order your bed and mattress at the top right hand side underneath the telephone number.|
We accept credit card payment through Secure Hosting online payments, we also accept credit card payment over the phone, unfortunately we no longer accept cheques. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron, Solo & American Express.
All items are charged to your card immediately after your order is taken, however if you would like to pay a deposit until your item arrives in stock please contact us on 01482 576771 and we can take your order over the phone and take a 10% deposit until your item arrives in stock. When the item arrives in stock, we will contact you to arrange delivery we will then take your card details again (all credit card details are destroyed after the deposit is taken) in order to process the balance payment. All orders must be paid in full at least the day before delivery of the bed. In cases were the delivery is passed onto a third party or done by the manufacturer, the payment may be requested in full at least one week before delivery. Please do not e-mail credit card information, please contact us on 01482 576771. Once your payment has been taken your card details are then destroyed.
Please note that if you pay on a card that is not registered to the delivery address your order must be placed online so that you can complete the 3d secure.
|Shipping And HandlingHere at Beds on Legs all items are delivered free of charge within England, Wales and Scotland (excluding the post codes in the exclusion from free delivery section listed below).|
If you are in the Scottish highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or Northern Ireland, or one of the post codes listed in the exclusion from free delivery section our couriers charge a nominal fee for this service (* Please see these exclusions listed below), please see below to check the charge. We give a price on application for the following, Isle of Lewis, Isle of Arran, Isle of Skye, Shetlands, Argyll & Bute, Inner & Outer Hebrides, Orkney Islands, Isles of Scilly
The standard free delivery offered is on a one man service detailed below but wherever possible on orders over £300, delivery will be upgraded to the Premier Two Man delivery FREE OF CHARGE. (Restrictions apply detailed below) If you want a guaranteed Premier Two Man delivery please state in the special instructions during the order process.
Once you have placed your order we will inform you by e-mail if your order will be delivered on the one man or two man service. On the Premier Two Man service a delivery time slot will be given. One man delivery is on an all day service.
We now offer Saturday delivery free of charge, on a Saturday a four hour delivery slot will be given.

The following post codes in Scotland normally incurr a delivery charge of £30.00:

We can not upgrade deliveries to an AM to the following post codes:
England & Wales: TR21-25, IM1-9.
Scotland: AB post codes, FK19, HS, IM1-9, IV1, IV3-56, DD8-11, EH38, EH43-46, FK8, G63, G83-84, IV2, PH8, PH10-11.
Our contractors can only delivery to ground floor level to outside the door unless pre-arranged with the customer when the item is purchased and then the item can be put on our Premier Two Man service for a charge of £20.00. Therefore the customer needs to make suitable arrangements to move the items to their required location. If you live in a flat delivery will only be made to outside the main entrance to the building.
PREMIER TWO MAN SERVICE
Wherever possible the Premier Two Man service will be offered free of charge on all orders over £300 postcode permitting. Orders under £300.00 will incur a £20.00 charge:
- Delivery to room of choice upstairs or downstairs
- Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 8pm delivery
- Saturday & Sunday 8am to 6pm delivery
- 4 hour delivery slot given 24 hours before via text message and e-mail
- Packaging removed
Please note that this service is not available every day in every area so we may not be able to deliver on the day requested.
Certain items are unable to be delivered on the two man service without delivery being delayed , this includes items which state they need to be ordered before 11am, 1pm and 1.30pm.
If you live within the HU post code area you can select an AM or PM service between Monday and Saturday free of charge and your bed will be delivered on a two man delivery service as standard to the room of choice. (Please note we are not able to do this on items that state they must be ordered before certain time for next day delivery such as before 11am, 12pm & 1.30pm, unfortunately these will have to go on the all day service unless an upgraded service if paid for.)
- Both Beds on Legs/ the contractor and the personnel of Beds on Legs/ the contractor will not accept liability for any damage both to the delivered product and to the customers property, (including all types of fixtures, fittings and building structure), whilst assisting the customer with delivery to the room of choice. The customer must solely take responsibility for this action. Any consequent damage should fall under the customer's household insurance.
- Beds on Legs contracted deliveries will not set up your item, all Beds are flat pack and require assembling.
- All upgraded delivery charges must be arranged and paid for in full prior to delivery.
- Please note that all upgraded services are non-refundable.
- Please note were a delivery/collection date has been agreed with the carrier and the buyer, and the buyer is not present, the seller reserves the right to charge the buyer a minimum of £30 to cover the cost of the failed delivery/ Collection.
- Please be aware for health and safety issues delivery drivers are unable to remove their shoes when delivering products into customers houses. If you need to protect your flooring please make sure an adequate cover has been placed on the floor prior to the delivery driver arriving.
|Delivery Schedule We have a great number of items in stock, if your item is in stock we will contact you within 48hrs to arrange delivery. Many items do however have to be ordered. The delivery time varies depending on the item, so in each item description we have given the approximate delivery time, please see the relevant item for the delivey time. If for any reason you can not see the delivery time please contact us on 01482 576771 where we can give you it over the phone.|
|Back Orders We will give approx delivery times for the delivery of goods at the point of sale. However occasionally an order maybe delayed due to reasons beyond our control. In this situation the customer can either wait for the goods to be delivered, choose an alternative or obtain a full refund which will be processed within 30 days. |
|Tax Charges All orders are inclusive of VAT.|
|Credit Card Security When the order is placed on our website, you are taken to a secure server upon which you should see a lock in the right hand corner of the screen. When you order your item over the phone, we take your details and once we have processed the transaction we detroy the card details|
|Guarantee All our products come with a one year manufacturers guarantee, if you take a look at individual descriptions on the divans and mattresses you may find that your item comes with a warranty. |
A warranty in the case of the products on our site are an extended reassurance that if the product has a manufacturers fault within the set warranty period the manufacturer will exchange or fix the item in question. Please note that in the case of warranties that this replacement is not done free of charge and that warranties from bed manufacturers work on a sliding scale depending on how long you have had the mattress. If you have had the mattress 2 years, you will pay a smaller percentage towards a new mattress than you would if you have had the mattress 5 years.

|Returns Policy Cancellation Policy|
You can cancel your order at any point, though you will incur the returns fee if your delivery has been dispatched from our warehouse, Deliveries are dispatched from our warehouse the day before the prearranged delivery date, if your delivery is a Sunday or Monday delivery leaves us the Friday before. If we have an offer by which you have benefited from such as vouchers and you have already received the voucher code, you will be refunded less the amount of vouchers you have received.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
If for any reason you wish to return the goods, please note that you have seven working days in which to report this to us. The following conditions apply:
The goods are returned to us at a charge of £29 to the consumer, this is to recover part of the collection cost.
If we have an offer by which you have benefited from such as vouchers and you have already received the voucher code, you will be refunded less the amount of vouchers you have received as well as the returns fee.
(Please note that any upgraded delivery charges are non-refundable included the upgraded two man service and the Premium setup charge as these are for the service provided)
The consumer must retain possession and take good care of the goods until we come and collect them.
The goods are returned in the original packaging ( goods that are delivered by courier are very well packaged both by the manufacturer and then by ourselves).
The items have not been part or fully assembled (items will then not be in a re-saleable condition).
Mattresses must not be slept on.
This returns policy excludes special order items such as made to measure mattresses, such items will not be able to be returned.
Collections are on an all day service between 8.30am- 5.30pm due to courier restrictions
This returns charge does not apply to damaged items due to a manufacturers fault, if your item is damaged on arrival please sign it as damaged on the couriers form and contact us immediately. If you have not signed for the items as damaged please contact us within 7 working days in order that we can organize a replacement or a collection of the damaged item. We may request photos of the damaged item so that we can view the damage. The Terms & Condtions above also apply to faulty items that need exchanging or collecting ie the items will need to be packaged and kept in good condition. Collections are unfortunately an all day service whether the item is faulty or not.
Please note if you want to return an item at the point of delivery for any reason for example does not fit you will still incurr the return fee of £29.00.
Once the item has been dispatched and is with our couriers which is normally 24-48 hours before unless it a Monday delivery which mean the item is collected on a Friday there is also a £29.00 returns fee if you wish to cancel the order.
Once the item has been returned to us in good condition, the consumer will be refunded less the £29.00 recovery fee within 14 days.
