How to order your beds & mattresses
In order to make it a bit easier to make your purchase on Beds on Legs we have given some helpful instructions to help you place your order:
Bedsteads:
1. Select the style of bed you require, we have a number of different styles with everything from Traditional design cast metal beds to sleek contemporary beds.
2. Select the size you require we have given the sizes available below and what mattress size these beds fit.
- 2'6 Small Single fits mattress size 2'6 x 6'3 (75cm x 190cm)
- 3'0 Single fits mattress size 3' x 6'3 (90cm x 190cm)
- 4'0 Small Double fits mattress size 4' x 6'3 (120cm x 190cm)
- 4'6 Double fits mattress size 4'6 x 6'3 (135cm x 190cm)
- 5'0 Kingsize fits mattress size 5' x 6'6 (150cm x 200cm)
- 5'3 Continental Kingsize fits mattress size 5'3 x 6'6 (160cm x 200cm)
- 6'0 Super Kingsize fits mattress size 6' x 6'6 (180cm x 200cm)
3. Click on the bed you like in order to see a larger image and the bed description.
4. The majority of our bedsteads have mattress options below them, you save money on these mattresses if you purchase them with the bedstead. The descriptions of these mattresses are below the bedstead description and can be added to the basket by selecting them from the drop down menu.
5. If your item is in stock it will ask you to select a delivery date before you can add the item to your cart, please select the delivery date you require we recommend that you read our delivery terms and conditions before you do this as for instance Saturday delivery is an extra charge of £20.00. If your item doesn't have a delivery date calendar next to it it will list an approx delivery time in the item description. Once this item comes into stock we will contact you to arrange a day for delivery.
6. Click the Buy now button to add this item to you shopping cart
7. Click checkout if you do not require any other items
8. If you select one item that is in stock and one item that is not in stock we would normally deliver all items at the same time. On the item that is in stock it will still request a delivery date just put one in and at the special instructions stage of the order please put that you would like both items at the same time. If you would like one item delivered earlier that is not a problem. Some items are in stock but do not have a delivery day calendar on them as they may require a special two man delivery which needs to be arranged over the telephone or perhaps there are size options on the item and only one of the options is in stock. In this case we will call you to arrange a day for delivery once we receive the order.
9. If you have the wrong or too many items in your basket please go to View Basket and amend your order
Please note that all bedsteads come flat pack are self assembly. The measurements that are given on each product description are the external ones, if the item you are interested in does not have the external measurements in the item description please e-mail or telephone us and we will get them for you.
Mattresses:
You can visit our Mattress Next Day Section in order to select mattresses in stock for next day delivery or you can go on our main mattress section and follow the instructions below:
1. Select the size you require

2. Select the manufacturer
3. Scroll through the mattresses in each section and click on the items you are interested in to view a larger picture and see the product description.
4. If your item is in stock it will ask you to select a delivery date before you can add the item to your cart, please select the delivery date you require we recommend that you read our delivery terms and conditions before you do this as for instance Saturday delivery is an extra charge of £20.00.
